Degrowth in China and India..

I was thinking …   who can tell China that it must stop growing?  Who can tell India that it cannot continue down this path of continuous and consistent growth?

Sooner or later someone’s got to tell them…

Maybe the US? the IMF? the World Bank?

But… aren’t these institutions based on the very concept of consistent and infinite growth??   …so…??

And, should such institutions ask China and India to stop growing, how and when would this happen?

And… what if China and India responded negatively?   Will force be needed to prevent them from growing further?  Force..?

And… to what extent?  Perhaps.. a new world war?
